MOPPETS Well-Child Policy

General Policies:

©      Under no circumstances are children to be left in the nursery/classroom areas unattended. If moms arrive early, they must stay with their child until a teacher arrives.

©      All children must be brought to and picked up at their classes by their parent or legal guardian.  Bracelet numbers will be checked by each worker.  Please do not forget to return your bracelet to the MOPPETS worker!

©      Children should be picked up from their classrooms immediately following the meeting.

Please do not bring your children to MOPPETS if they have:

©      Fever greater than 99.0 currently or within the last 24 hours.

©      Vomiting, diarrhea or earache.

©      Any symptoms of childhood disease such as mumps, measles, chicken pox or whooping cough.

©      Runny nose with green or yellow mucus.

©      Colds or symptoms of a cold (coughing, sneezing, sore throat).

©      Any unexplained rash or skin infections such as impetigo or ringworm.

©      Pink eye or any other eye infections.

NO medication of any kind will be administered by MOPPETS workers. If your child needs medication, it must be kept by the mom until needed and then administered by the mom.

Out of consideration for the families involved in the MOPPETS program, our workers have been asked to not accept any child into the nursery who is ill or appears to be ill. If your child becomes ill during a MOPS meeting, you will be notified to come to your child’s room.
