Welcome to the Cumberland MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) website where better moms make a better world! If this is your first time checking us out, then you should know that we are a group of moms who get together twice a month to refresh and relax while our children play and learn in a program called MOPPETS!
We fully believe that in order to become better moms we need community, encouragement and accountability from one another. MOPS is all about getting to know other moms in the same life-season to form a support network as well as giving you some well-deserved time away from your little ones twice a month! We meet at Cumberland Community Church in Smyrna, GA on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from September through May from 9:30am until 11:30am. Our meetings are for moms with children under the age of 5. Don't be fooled by the name "Mothers of Preschoolers." The name simply implies that we are here to support all moms with infants through preschoolers. Unfortunately, we currently are full and unable to accept new members for those requiring childcare, because our childcare is at capacity for the number of rooms that we have. Please note that we have many outside events (playdates and Mom's Night Out) to participate in, so that you can meet other moms and build a network of support. Please email cumberlandmops@gmail.com to be included in our Mom's Night Outs and playdates. Additionally, we now have a MOPS PM group that meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7:30pm-9pm with childcare available. Please contact pm@cumberlandmops.com for more information! |
